Ethan Gunty | Assistant Men's Soccer Coach
Gunty is in his first season as an assistant coach of Skidmore Men’s Soccer.
Prior to Skidmore:
- Recruited over 15 players to help grow the program and set the team on a path to compete in the nationally recognized NJCAA Region 3 league
- Advanced to the Northeast-10 finals for first-time in program history
- Helped guide the team to a 10-6-4 record, best record in NE-10 program history
- One All-East selection, 4 All-Conference selections, 2 All-Rookie team
- Assisted team to a 9-8-2 record and a quarter-final SUNYAC playoff win and appearance in SUNYAC semi-finals
- U16 & U17 Boys Head Coach, FC Dutchmen and Bethlehem SC, 2018-2019
- Student Athlete Academic Advisor, SUNY Adirondack, 2022-2024
Playing Experience:
- SUNYAC All-Conference selection
- 10 goals and 6 assists in two seasons
- Northeast-10 All-Rookie Team Selection
- 4 goals and 2 assists in two seasons
Ryan Henning | Men's Soccer Goalkeeper Coach
Ryan Henning joined the coaching staff in summer 2024.
Henning oversees goalkeeper development, conducts goalkeeper training sessions, provides player analysis to the coaching staff, and assists in recruiting prospective student-athletes.
Henning graduated in 2022 from The College of Saint Rose (NCAA Division II), where he started 32 games and made 118 saves in his collegiate career. A native of the Capital Region, Henning currently plays semi-professional soccer for the New York Shockers in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). Since graduating from Saint Rose, Ryan has coached for RPI men's soccer, New York Elite Alleycats, Bethlehem High School, and Beestera Soccer Training.
Jake Natola | Assistant Men's Soccer Coach
Jake Natola is in his first season as an assistant coach of Skidmore Men’s Soccer.
Prior to Skidmore:
- Contributed to Rivier’s first winning season since 2000, including a GNAC quarterfinal appearance
- Best conference record since 2003, fewest goals allowed in a season and most shutouts in program history (8)

Playing Experience:
- Played over 4,000 minutes for the Pilgrims, including two seasons as a captain
- Helped guide the team to two New England Collegiate Conference Championships, and two NCAA Tournament appearances (2021 under Coach Campion, 2022)
- Recognized with College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Honors and NECC Academic All-Conference, as well as being named to the Del Malloy All-Sportsmanship Team.
